Lawmakers will listen to folks who participate in lobby/advocacy activities..apparently H-1B lobby/advocacy is louder than the GC backlog lobby/advocacy and that's what we hear in the news.
Compete America is advocating GC reforms for US educated work force. I am sure most of lawmakers do not know how retrogressed India and china are. Also media is confused too.

So USCIS will never see the flowers becoz they are boxed.. and they will never get delivered becoz they are being routed from the airport itself. No major news media covered the few deliveries at USCIS.. What was the point of the campaign again?

I did refered earlier in this forum ,about KIRAN SATHAYE AGENCY (http://www.givemeinsurance.com) , a desi agent deals with Farmers Insurance in Texas only.
I got mine and my wife insurance with him for $15 a month covering 250K Term Life insurance ( We are on H1 )
Check for any Farmers agents in your area.

Do you know how much more the premium would be for this product compared to regular term? I am guessing a lot more. In that case whole life is better where the cash value generated would pay much more after 30 years based on a low 5.5 - 6% estimated annual return. But of course it is for folks who will stay in US at least 15 years+ because after 15 yeras the Cash Value could itself pay for the permium and you do not have to pay any more premuims unless you wish to boost the Cash Value further.
Its not a lot more.. about $200 more per year.. ... but atleast you get back all your money..

You go to SSN office, fill out a form and submit it. Use the following link to locate a office.

Remember one thing, until your wife gets SSN, she can't be paid (legally). So, don't wait till the pay period to apply.

3) To protect your familiy, think of the 3 areas: Death, disability and illness. Dying is the easy part...you die, your family gets a lump sum. The worst is that you DON'T die, but have a terminal illness (e.g. cancer), have no job and then incur substantial medical bills. Remember to cover all areas.

Take 100 folks with C grade and give them the $50 offer for B. May be 80% will reach that goal. (I do not recall the actual results of the experiment).
Take 100 folks with D grade and give them the $50 offer for B. Ideally we should see 80% of folks improving their grade to a C (one level up). But in real life only may be half as much (40%) will actually improve their grades to a C.
At this point and esp from states like TN, IN, MO, AR, KS, KY, MO, OH, WI, AZ, NV, NM, UT, CO, OR, NE ..... I will gladly take the 40%, why, I will be happy with 20%!!!!!!!!!!!
Members from these states, remember, that your lawmaker will vote on all immigration bills - the questions are 1. whether our provisions are in the bill 2. have we talked to our lawmakers about our issues and 3. will they vote for us? ----- All three tie to our participation and our communication. These ppl are talking about giving amnesty to ILLEGALS...let me repeat it.. amnesty=award for being ILLEGAL. They have done that before and all of a sudden we F'KIN LEGAL TEMP WORKERS from India/China have to worry about the LEGAL aspect of filing a law-suit.
Something is seriously screwed up with this. This is no different than a pseudo-SLAVERY. Now all of a sudden most of you will say, no one put a gun on your head to work. Ofcourse not, but why hell do they create a dual intent H1FU?K Visa where they show you the carrot and create a indentured servant system and discriminate on the basis of the country of your birth. It is discrimination. Trust me when there was SLAVERY in the US , it was defined LEGAL.

No soft or hard LUD's sofar. :mad:
Can you share some info? What category and PD? You should file Ombudsman report. you done that already?
